Job description:
We are seeking for a highly motivated Postdoc candidate to join the project “Immunotherapy with CAR-T cells against stromal antigens for the treatment of PDAC (CAR4PDAC) AC23_1/0005 and AECC Foundation”. Project funded by: AECC Foundation, Carlos III Health Institute and the European Union (NextGenerationEU, Transformation and Resilience Recovery Plan).
The candidate will join a highly collaborative environment on the field of Oncology in CIMA Research Center under the supervision of Drs. Juan José Lasarte and Felipe Prosper.
We are seeking for an enthusiastic and independent individual to join our project with a special focus on translational pancreatic cancer immunotherapy research. Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC) represents one of the most lethal and difficult to treat cases. The CAR4PDAC project proposes the development of CART strategies directed against the tumor stroma of pancreatic cancer by affecting the fibronectin/integrin axis.
We are looking for a self-motivated, resilient, autonomous person. Selected candidate must be capable of team-work, communicate and work on several projects.
Required academic qualification:
PhD in Biological or Biomedical Sciences.
Main tasks to develop:
• To work on pancreatic tumour models.
• To generate and characterize CART products at the cellular and molecular level. The use of new combinatorial therapies and dissection of the mechanism of action is proposed using high-throughput approaches (multiplex cytometry and IF, RNAseq, scRNAseq, proteomics and/or metabolomics) and targeted approaches.
Working conditions:
- Position type: Full Time (40h/week)
- Contract length: fixed-term contract linked to programmes financed with European Funds (NextGenerationEU/PRTR)
